Rudy Giuliani booed at Yankee Stadium on his birthday

They booed him when the Yankees wished him a happy birthday over the speakers.

Instead of cheers, the crowd booed at the mention of Giuliani's name.

Rudy Giuliani didn't have the best birthday on Monday.

Giuliani, who served as mayor from 1994 to 2001, joined President Trump's legal team in April.

Sounds like President Donald Trump's lawyer struck out at the ball game on his 74th birthday. He told CNN's Dana Bash on Sunday that the strategy behind Trump's aggressive attempts to discredit that investigation is to curry favor with the "public opinion".

Since going to the White House, Giuliani has made a strong effort to discredit the Mueller probe, while still maintaining that Trump would welcome a sit-down interview with the special counsel. Either fans were taking out their frustrations on Giuliani or he's just not as popular as he once was in the Big Apple.

On top of Giuliani getting booed, his beloved Yankees ended up getting crushed 5-1 by World Series reigning champion the Houston Astros.

Giuliani talks with people before the New York Yankees game in New York on May 28.
