Once Upon a Time in Hollywood adds three new characters

In the past, we've reported that Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Burt Reynolds, Timothy Olyphant, Michael Madsen, and Tim Roth had all joined the picture, but now we have a handful of other stars that have hopped on board.

In the realm of more mysterious characters, Perry is set to play Scotty Lancer; Collins, who's been killing it on HBO's Westworld, is Ernesto the Mexican Vaquero (and if Tarantino doesn't find a way to work "motherfucker" into his dialogue then he's missing out on one of Collins' very particular skills); and Jefferson will play a character named Land Pirate Keith. Luckily, those aren't all the details we have, as they've also revealed who will be playing what in this ode to '60s cinema. Dicaprio stars as Rick Dalton, a former Western TV star struggling to stay relevant and Pitt stars as his trusty longtime stuntman Cliff Booth.

A source close to the production confirmed to EW that Dakota Fanning will play Manson family disciple Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme, who notoriously attempted to assassinate President Gerald Ford in 1975, while Billions star Damian Lewis will play Hollywood's handsome King of Cool, Steve McQueen.

Production for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is now being prepped in Los Angeles for Sony Pictures and the film is slated for release on August 9, 2019.

Sony is distributing the film for Tarantino, who went on an extensive search for a new one after the whole Weinstein debacle went down. Just hit the buttons on the top of this page.
