Real Madrid sign promising goalkeeper Andriy Lunin from Zorya Luhansk

The 19-year-old joins Los Blancos on a six-year deal worth £7.5m.

Florentino Perez has been determined to strengthen the Real Madrid squad this summer, and it's understood that Andriy Lunin is already in the Spanish capital ahead of his transfer to Los Blancos.

The same article states that the 6ft 3ins shot stopper is desperate to complete a move to Real Madrid as opposed to Premier League side Liverpool FC.

"Real is my favourite team", he said last year, via Goal.

A reported fee of 14million Euros is being spoken of, although neither club has revealed the cost for the player.

Lunin began his professional career at Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, making his debut as a 17-year-old and quickly cementing himself as first choice before joining Zorya Luhansk last summer.

Zorya subsequently finished fourth in the Ukrainian top flight and also featured in the Europa League group stage.

Karius made two mistakes to allow Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale to find the net in a resounding win for the defending champions.

Marca have claimed that Madrid were to pay about €8.5m plus €4m in extras, with the move fitting with the club's policy of snapping up the best young global talent.

According to the Spanish press, Lunin will start with Real Madrid Castilla, the club's B team which plays in the Spanish second division.

Madrid is also reportedly tracking Roma's Brazil goalkeeper Alisson, as well as Manchester United's David de Gea.
