Steelers linemen are reportedly not happy about running back Le'Veon Bell's continued holdout.

Bell hasn't signed his $14.5 million franchise tender yet and he's widely expected to leave the Steelers next offseason.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell remains away from the team with just four days remaining until its 2018 season opener against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

ESPN's Matthew Berry noted on Fantasy Focus that fantasy owners should be hitting the panic button if Bell did not show up by Wednesday.

General manager Kevin Colbert - who issued a statement Monday that the team was "disappointed" Bell hadn't signed the tender - will not be made available for comment, but the Steelers issued a statement through director of communications Burt Lauten.

They were OK with Bell not showing up for Monday's "bonus day" practice, too, even though he was there previous year when he played under the franchise tag.

"Honestly it's a little selfish", center Maurkice Pouncey told reporters after practice.

After taking his shots at Bell through the media today, offensive guard Ramon Foster took to Twitter to give his true impression of Bell's character. Bell, on the other hand, is set to earn $14.54 million this season alone under the franchise tag.

"He f--ed us", one veteran told ESPN as he walked out of the locker room on Wednesday.

A source told ESPN that the Steelers have no plans to rescind Bell's tender, and league sources say a trade would be hard to execute because of Bell's position and teams' unwillingness to inherit a franchise-tagged player.

"We're the Steelers and we're going to play as the Steelers".

Tell us how you really feel.

Bell has to worry about his own long-term well-being over the short-term interested of the Steelers, and he's just witnessed Aaron Donald and Khalil Mack receive extremely lucrative deals over the last week.

"Stars are made every year, so hopefully it aligns for him", Pouncey said. "This offense is more than just one guy", he added. "If Adisa (Bakari) would like to talk further, he has the phone number to our offices".

While I am inclined not to draft Bell given he still has an ADP of No. 2, I am looking to get James Conner if the price is right.

"We know he's one of the best in the business and he helps each week", Roethlisberger said.

Stevan Ridley and rookie Jaylen Samuels will back up Conner.
