Pogba has always been a show off, says Doucoure

Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure has labelled his former worldwide colleague Paul Pogba a "show-off" ahead of the Hornets' game against Manchester United on Saturday.

Pogba has made 99 appearances for United so far, scoring 17 goals and assisting a further 18 strikes. He liked to show off.

"My future is now in Manchester, I still have a contract, I'm playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the next few months", Pogba said. "He's a very nice guy, always very natural", Doucoure said. It's always great to play against him.

Boateng, 30, looked set for an exit from the Bundesliga champions in the previous transfer window with Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United both lodging bids for the 2014 World Cup victor.

Jose Mourinho's men were defeated by Brighton and Tottenham in what was their worst start to a new campaign since 1992, although they did win at home to Leicester and away at Burnley just before the global break. I sent him a message during the World Cup and congratulated him.

Pogba's performances have divided opinion since returning to Manchester United from Juventus in the summer of 2016 but Doucoure believes his compatriot's talent and personality makes him a valuable asset for United. He got this because he's good on the pitch.

Pogba has failed to hit the heights that were expected of him, while his relationship with Jose Mourinho is extremely strained.

Doucoure might not have earned senior recognition with France just yet but he has emerged as one of the most highly rated midfielders outside of the top six clubs in the Premier League over the past 12-months.

The transfer window may be closed but managers are already planning for January and next summer so we'll bring you all the latest gossip.
