Tom Arnold, Mark Burnett Get Into Pre-Emmy Scuffle

Arnold went to the West L.A. division of the LAPD on Monday morning and made a report for battery, said LAPD Officer Rosario Herrera.

Burnett's wife, Roma Downey says Arnold "tried to ambush" her and Mark. "Is your TV show worth it Tom?".

Arnold replied to Downey's tweet with a threat of legal action for "defamation", and has since claimed that Kevin Bacon is 'a solid reliable brawl witness'.

The Los Angeles Police Department has not filed a report on the incident so far. Arnold has been pressing Burnett to release recordings he allegedly has of then-Apprentice host Donald Trump saying the N-word and other terrible things on the set of the reality show.

Burnett was the head man on The Apprentice for its entire NBC run with Trump, and the reality TV exec reportedly likes The Donald quite a bit. One of the things Arnold is after. the outtakes from "The Apprentice", which Burnett created and produces.

Arnold and Burnett reportedly scuffled during arrivals at the Evening Before Emmy party, a fundraiser for the Motion Picture Television Fund, and were separated by security, Variety reported.

There is little doubt that Arnold has gotten under the skin of Mark Burnett with his tweets and requests for the alleged Trump Tapes over the last several months.

The lawyer, Martin Singer, said Burnett "attacked" Arnold.

Arnold has claimed that Trump has used the N-word and is "obviously a racist", adding that the president's take on the National Football League is because "he doesn't like black guys". Burnett has said he has no access to the tapes because they're owned by MGM.

ET has reached out to reps for Arnold and Burnett as well as the police. Arnold also has said he won't stop digging until the president quits - and that he "doesn't give a sh*t" about the 40 percent of Americans still standing by him.

And, for his part, Donald Trump tweeted that he doesn't "have that word in my vocabulary, and never have". "It's cruel... and Mark Burnett says he's a Christian".
