Harry and Meghan had a busy day of engagements on their first joint official visit to Sussex on Wednesday.

Meghan is the first Duchess of Sussex.

Sussex is finally getting a visit from its new Duke and Duchess as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle today prepare to head to the county for the first time.

Meghan teamed the bag with another couple of designer purchases: a lambskin-leather panelled pencil skirt in open green from Hugo Boss retailing at approximately £461.

Meghan has certainly polished her pen skills since changing her signature when receiving her Duchess of Sussex title in May.

While at Edes House, Their Royal Highnesses will be shown the rare Sussex copy of the American Declaration of Independence, which is one of only two contemporary handwritten ceremonial manuscript copies.

Other stops on the visit will include the Royal Pavilion, which was built for George, the Prince of Wales, who then became the Prince Regent in 1811, and the Survivors' Network; which is a charity that supports survivors of sexual abuse. Both Harry and Meghan made point to visit with the children, especially after they made Meghan and Harry a guide to Sussex with some of their favorite restaurants and places to see.

The couple end the tour in Peacehaven, meeting youngsters at the JOFF Youth Centre and hearing about their work on mental health and wellbeing.
