Two people are dead after a building collapse late Friday at an Amazon distribution warehouse in Baltimore, according to fire officials. They recovered the body of a second man on Saturday, Clark said. They were pronounced dead on Saturday morning.

In the South-Eastern part of Baltimore (Maryland) on Amazon sorting center on Friday, November 2, an emergency happened: partially collapsed one of the 50-foot (15 m) of the walls of the building.

Amazon closed the entire building following the wall collapse.

"Severe weather damaged one of our facilities in Baltimore City". According to the reports, Italian Deputy Transport Minister Edoardo Rixi lamented the loss of lives due to poor construction of the bridge and said that it is an important bridge in the city and such collapse of it is not acceptable.


The two died at the Amazon distribution center in southeast Baltimore when a wall collapsed during the storm Friday.

The Weather Service's report came after it sent damage-assessment teams to the Baltimore/Dundalk area and to Mount Airy to see whether tornadoes had touched down there.

Severe weather in the area caused damage to the roof of an apartment building in Dundalk as well, displacing residents. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families impacted by last night's tragic event, ' the spokesperson added.
