Broadway actor Jarrod Spector had criticized Kanye West after the music superstar used his phone during a performance of The Cher Show on Monday.

Apparently Kanye West wasn't trying to be rude when he was on his phone during the Broadway opening night of The Cher Show!

The rapper certainly isn't the first audience member to get called out for having his cellphone out during a show.

Last night, Spector made headlines after name-dropping Ye for using his phone during the live performance. "We're going to work on the other parts". They can not put them down. "And there were no parts where I wanted to gouge my eyes out". He thought the show was so attractive that, even though he and Kim were scheduled to leave during intermission, they pushed their flight back so they could catch the end of the show.

Perhaps if Kanye could just turn back time - if he could find a way - he would choose to pay The Cher Show more attention.

And in a rare slice of Twitter humble pie, West conceded, apologising for his "lack of etiquette".

Kardashian poked fun at her wardrobe mishap, posting a photo of the moment to her Instagram Stories and covering up her almost-nip slip with a GIF of Cher from "Mamma Mia!" The subject of the musical, known for her own plentiful tweets, has yet to weigh in on West's faux pas.
