Relax: The BLACK MIRROR: BANDERSNATCH Trailer Is Here

The episode is directed by Black Mirror alum David Slade and stars Fionn Whitehead (Dunkirk), along with Will Poulter (The Revenant), and others. It shows you things that a regular Black Mirror episode could not. "Bandersnatch" is the first interactive film for grown-ups. Without getting too granular, you can also choose whether to take drugs at a key moment, or commit violent acts, or even decide which record you want to buy. We don't know very much about it at this point, but that's okay because it'll be releasing tomorrow. Hopefully Bandersnatch will be another compelling entry into the Black Mirror universe. But it leaves mysterious whether viewers will have a choice in the matter in the final moments of Bandersnatch.

The Liverpool-based company went broke just 18 months later, according to a Bustle report. With Bandersnatch, Brooker and Jones take their explorations on digital consciousness a step further: They make viewers complicit by putting them in control. You'll have to watch it for yourself! The speculation first began after a since-deleted tweet from an official Netflix account listed the premiere date for the title, then believed to just be an episode in the fifth season, as Friday, Dec. 28. "If you're making that decision, how does that affect your relationship with the film?"

Black Mirror dropped Bandersnatch this morning - a fairly ground-breaking piece of interactive TV that lets you, the viewer, make choices along the way.

It was a first for Brooker, though it isn't altogether surprising when you consider Bandersnatch has over a trillion unique permutations, though some of those include fairly superficial choices like deciding what cereal to scoff for breakfast.

Bandersnatch is available to experience on "most newer devices", according to Netflix, including TVs, game consoles, web browser, and Android and iOS devices running the latest version of the Netflix app.

In this way, this special Black Mirror movie becomes a surprising reflection on the limited choices we seem to have in our lives, and the guilt we feel for not taking the road less traveled.
