Now his focus will be on AEW and considering his vast experience and unbridled talent as a professional wrestler, Jericho is expected to play a very crucial role in promoting the new league.

Chris Jericho was a guest on Busted Open Radio today, taking the time to discuss the behind the scenes happenings as AEW prepares for their second show, Double Or Nothing, and the other major plans ahead of them. You've got Ring Of Honor and New Japan. He knew what I was doing it wasn't a surprise. While Jericho working outside of WWE isn't news, him joining a North American wrestling company seems like something that could irk Vince McMahon.

During an appearance on X-Pac's podcast, Khan stated, per WrestlingInc: "I have spent some time with Bill, I really like Bill, a lot, and he's one of the greatest drawing cards ever in the business". The two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion interrupted "Hangman" Adam Page during the rally, leading to the two arguing over who will be the first All Elite Wrestling World Champion.

With the Khan's money combined with Cody Rhodes and the Young Buck's passion, Jericho seems convinced AEW will be a success.

"And yes", Jericho affirmed, "the television deals that are being talked about, again, nothing is set in stone, but the three that I know of will have people going, 'Ok, this is the real deal'".

"I think we just took things to a different level, didn't we?", the legend added.
