Modi's epic selfie with B'wood stars

Johar uploaded a selfie with Modi and the rest of the group on Instagram and described the meeting as "an incredible opportunity".

It was an iconic day for Bollywood as several young stars came together and met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

The pic includes Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Rohit Shetty, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Bhumi Pednekar, Ekta Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. On social media, the 33-year-old actor posted a picture of himself hugging PM Modi and captioned it as, "jaadoo ki jhappi". The producer-director also shared his thoughts after meeting with the Indian Prime Minister.

The delegation, a mix of directors and actors, was organised by filmmaker Karan Johar, the source added. By the looks of it, Alia and Kalki will be playing Ranveer's love interests, with Alia contributing to the movie's comedy and funky-quotient.

PM Modi happily posed for a selfie with the delegation led by film-maker Karan Johar and the selfie seems to be next level epic. And can do and this dialogue was towards how and what ways we can do that.

"Thank you so much for your time, Sir!".

"When the youngest country (in demography) joins hands with the largest movie industry in the world, we hope to be a force to reckon with", he wrote.

This isn't the first time that Ranbir had turned down a Zoya Akhtar film. He also thanked Modi for introducing reduced GST rates in film ticket prices for which the PM had met with a delegation of Bollywood producers on 19 December.
