Guy's Crazy Stunt Gets Him Banned From Cruise Line

Nick Naydev, a 27-year-old from Vancouver, Washington, was enjoying a cruise with his friends on the Royal Caribbean Symphony of the Seas when he chose to do something that most of us would agree is probably against the rules in the "cruise guest handbook". The video has more than 80,000 views and more than 1,000 comments.

Nick was later picked up by a small boat and told to 'get my stuff and leave the ship'.

According to Fox News, the ship was docked in Nassau, Bahamas when Naydev made a decision to jump from the 11th floor of the ship and into the water. "When I woke up I just chose to jump". "My idea was this would be a good laugh for my friends and I would just swim back to shore and continue my vacation and never thought this would be this serious", Naydev is quoted as saying in a statement to FOX 13.

"I just hope I don't inspire anyone to try this because I don't want to feel responsible for any injuries", he also told KOIN. His friends are seen egging him on in the clip. He paused to smile at the cameraman, who witnessed the leap alongside two other companions, before jumping off the ledge, kicking his feet as he plummeted down.

In a video posted to Instagram, the Washington-based passenger could be seen standing on the edge of the balcony while his friends looked on.

Royal Caribbean is now considering taking legal action against the group.

Speaking for the first time since the daredevil stunt, Naydev, who formerly did gymnastics, said he had no hesitations about his jump.

In the comments on the video, Naydev said he was "still drunk from the previous night" when he made a decision to jump.

The cruise line also informed local police, though Naydev told Fox 13 that they declined to press charges, because "fortunately the police thought the whole situation was amusing".

On the same day that Naydev uploaded the video, a teen died after falling from Deck 8 of Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas ship.

Mr Naydev didn't respond to requests for comment but responding to the post he wrote his feet "were actually fine" after the dive.

"Stupid is what stupid does!" wrote one person in the comments section. Yahoo Lifestyle identified the friend recording the video as Konstantin Kryachun. "We just wanted to get a video of it and make it go viral".
