Marks was last seen wearing an orange jumpsuit and restraints, FOX26 reported.

Marks' wife, Ginell McDonough, is facing charges of harboring a fugitive, as she's accused of allowing Marks and Maxwell to stay with her while authorities were looking for them, KCEN-TV said.

The transport vehicle carrying Marks stopped for food when he escaped, Scott Spencer, a lieutenant with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, said on Twitter.

She said murder warrants were issued on Sunday (Monday NZT) for Marks in last month's killings of an ex-girlfriend, Jenna Scott, and a friend of hers, Michael Swearingin, who disappeared on January 4 and were found buried in a shallow grave in Clearview, Oklahoma, on January 15.

Marks was arrested in MI last month on a Texas charge alleging that on August 21, he broke into Scott's home in Temple, which is about 100 kilometres north of Austin. Marks is a professional MMA fighter and is considered extremely unsafe, police officials stated.

Marks, who fought under the name "Spiderman", began teaching mixed martial arts in Killeen, Texas, in 2017, KWTX reported. T.J. Cruz of the Bell County Sheriff's Department told the Telegram.

The woman who voluntarily admitted she drove a Swearingin's auto to Austin with the hope of concealing it from law enforcement agencies was extradited to Bell County. KCEN-TV said Maxwell is accused of taking Swearingin's auto to Austin in an attempt to hide it.

April Pease, Marks' ex-girlfriend and mother of a son, was reported missing March 17, 2009, according to The Charley Project.

Additional details were not immediately available.

Pease was described as white, 5 feet, 3 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone who spots Marks is asked to contact law enforcement immediately.
