Remembering Karl Lagerfeld: See the Fashion Designer's Impact on Events

Jameela Jamil has dubbed the late Karl Lagerfeld a "fatphobic misogynist" in the wake of his death.

The 85-year-old sweatpant-loathing icon, who died Tuesday in Paris, previously said that he'd name his beloved Birman kitty as one of his heirs. "Don't worry, there is enough for everyone".

The Chanel creative director adopted the kitten from model Bapitiste Giabiconi in 2011.

"I am so lucky and grateful to have had him in my life, worked with him and been able to spend time with him...."

The feline is famous herself, with more than 200,000 Instagram followers and 51,000 on Twitter.

Ashley Tschudin, the manager of Choupette's blog and social media channels, released a statement to People detailing how the cat is coping.

"She has round-the-clock care from two maids who groom her white coat four times a day and serve her up the same food as her master at the dining table".

"We have seen Choupette travel by private jet - or a £1,500 Louis Vuitton cat carrier - and stay in the world's most exclusive hotels".

"It was love at first sight. She just walked into the house of Chanel and said: 'We'd like some tea please.' I would design hats for Chanel for the next decade".

"What is amusing is that with all these whiskers I look a lot like Choupette ... we're really like an old couple", he told Numéro.

She said: "He also introduced me to some of the most important and special people in my life".

There are rumors that the designer left his fortune to his cat, the equally as iconic Choupette Lagerfeld, and though we doubt we'll ever be privvy to the truth of this rumor, we can't say we'd be surprised if it were true.

"I've asked to be cremated and for my ashes to dispersed with those of my mother... and those of Choupette, if she dies before me".
