Loughlin and her husband, designer Mossimo Giannulli, were both charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud in the Central District of California.

Hallmark Channel released a public statement announcing their separation with Loughlin.

Market strategist Laura Ries says it's an open question of whether audiences can separate Loughlin from the characters she plays.

There was more at stake than image. Loughlin actually has projects slated through November, after which the judge has ordered her to surrender her passport on December 19. Their lawyer has declined comment.

"After careful review of recent developments, we have made the decision to end the Sephora Collection partnership with Olivia Jade, effective immediately", a Sephora representative wrote in an email on Thursday.

Loughlin wasn't exclusive to Hallmark.

Loughlin occasionally guest stars on Netflix's Fuller House series. She's also starred in a number of the network's films like 2016's Every Christmas Has a Story and 2010's Meet My Mom.

Federal law enforcement officials went to Loughlin's home in Los Angeles on Tuesday and discovered she was out of the country, according to TMZ.

Loughlin and her husband are accused of paying a $500,000 bribe to have their two daughters, the elder of whom is a YouTube star and social media influencer, labeled as rowers to get into the University of Southern California.

Loughlin surrendered to law enforcement Wednesday, one day after the Federal Bureau of Investigation announced it indicted dozens of people allegedly involved in the scam.

While Stewart may exemplify her business, Loughlin wasn't the only engaging star on Hallmark's roster.

Hallmark Cards, the Kansas City, Missouri, enterprise started in 1910, has moved quickly before to respond to any flare-ups, such as in when it removed a gift wrap from circulation after one person complained of seeing a swastika in its pattern.

"She lost trust", said Robert Passikoff, president of Brand Keys, a New York-based brand research firm.

"There are other actresses out there, whether they find or develop another to replace her", said Ries.
