Cardi B Files To Trademark "Okurrr"

It's recently been reported that Cardi has filed legal papers with the United States Patent and Trademark Office to trademark "Okurrr", which in recent time has become her signature catchphrase.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Cardi, 26, made the major "money move" on March 11 for merchandising purposes. Apparently, the rapper plans to use it for her upcoming merch line, which will include "cups and posters". Okurrr or Okurr, it all belongs to Cardi B.

Although the phrase is officially Cardi's, she's not the only celebrity to use it. Her critics are capitalizing off a phrase that wasn't hers, to begin with.

Each member of the fam has been known to throw out an, "Okurrr" during episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

But Cardi was not happy with some people's response.

"You think I ain't gonna profit off this shit?" She then concluded her PSA by making her position clear on the matter, by promising that while she's still here she's "going to secure all the f****** bags".

Online records have shown that there is a new filing to trademark 'okurrr, ' done under her company, Washpoppin, Inc. earlier this month. "Let me tell y'all a secret too, it's 2019 bitches, it's a lot of ways to get rich".

While a guest on The Tonight Show a year ago, Cardi hilariously described the word as the sound "a cold pigeon in New York City" would make.
