Hussle, who was born Ermias Joseph Asghedom, was shot six times while standing in front of his store in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The intersection, at Crenshaw Boulevard and West Slauson Avenue, is located mere metres from where Nipsey Hussle was gunned down on March 31st, and is set to be renamed as the "Ermias "Nipsey Hussle" Asghedom Square".

Nipsey Hussle's final resting place is reportedly Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Hussle died from gunshot wounds to the head and torso, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed last Monday.

As fans continue to mourn his death, Nipsey's hometown is paying homage to him. Nipsey will always be remembered for delivering a pure, authentic Los Angeles sound, his numerous philanthropic efforts, his innovative, community-focused business mindset, and his humble heart. Many hold Hussle in high esteem for his activism and community service. Cole, Drake and Kendrick Lamar have paid their tributes since the tragic day.

It transpired last week that Crips, Bloods, and other gangs in LA have gathered for a "unity meeting" in the wake of his death.

London, the late rapper's girlfriend and baby mama, also had some words to share about Nipsey. Police on April 2 arrested Eric Holder and on last Thursday filed charges of murder and attempted murder against him, and now, he is being held on United States dollars 5 million bail.

There have been unconfirmed reports that Hussle was killed because he was trying to stop gang violence in Los Angeles. He has pled not guilty and has been placed in custody on a $5 million (£3.8 million) bail.
